Smart Regional Development Infrastructure (SARDINE)
Zusammenfassung
The project Smart Regional Development Infrastructure (SARDINE), jointly coordinated by the Leipzig University, the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences and the Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) e.V., focuses on the development of a new data platform for renaturation projects. On this platform, semantic links of unstructured and structured data are processed by means of visualizations in order to improve planning and management for the after-use of former open-cast lignite mines.
For the different after-use concepts of areas for industry, commercial and residential areas, agriculture and forestry as well as for touristic use, a wide variety of different procedures for renaturation are applied, including the creation of a large number of different documents and data. Due to this diversity, various actors are involved in the renaturation processes, such as municipalities, companies and individuals who request information about these projects.
In this context, SARDINE creates an innovative platform for the digital processing, semantic linking and task-oriented presentation of all relevant data, so that process stakeholders can efficiently access the required information.
As part of the project, the needs and requirements of the user groups will be developed and documented in a structured manner. In addition, SARDINE will also develop a post-use concept for the permanent use and archiving of data after the completion of renaturation projects.
